Today, the Center for Political Economy at Columbia World Projects announced it will fund one-year faculty grants up to $60,000 to advance new approaches to political economy with a robust institutional, cross-disciplinary orientation.

The first two themes to be addressed, organized as “idea labs”, will focus on firms and antitrust and work and labor. Each idea lab will act as a key mobilizer and network for Columbia faculty and students to engage with.

The Center is particularly interested in funding early-career faculty and interdisciplinary teams from at least two Columbia University schools or affiliates.

Grantees will be announced at the end of May and activities launched in June 2023. Applications are being accepted until Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 5 p,m. EST.
