The International Political Economy lab explores topics relevant to international macroeconomics and geopolitics, as well as other themes supported by the Center from a global perspective. The lab supports a monthly seminar series on International Economics and Geopolitics, and in the 2025-2026 academic year will also host the Politics and Economics of International Finance Research Group Meeting.

Maurice Obstfeld from University of California, Berkeley will present on “The US Trade Deficit Blame Game."
