The International Political Economy lab explores topics relevant to international macroeconomics and geopolitics, as well as other themes supported by CPE from a global perspective. The lab supports a monthly seminar series on International Economics and Geopolitics, and in the 2025-2026 academic year will also host the Politics and Economics of International Finance Research Group Meeting.

James Robinson from the University of Chicago will be presenting on “The Success of the Informal State in Britain.”
