The International Political Economy lab explores topics relevant to international macroeconomics and geopolitics, as well as other themes supported by CPE from a global perspective. The lab supports a monthly seminar series on International Economics and Geopolitics, and in the 2025-2026 academic year will also host the Politics and Economics of International Finance Research Group Meeting.

Christoph Trebesch from the Kiel Institute will be presenting on “Guns vs Butter? A New History of Military Finance.”
