The Center for Political Economy will be hosting a spring Showcase on Monday, February 16th, 2026 from 9am to 2pm at The Lee C. Bollinger Forum to bring the Center's scholarship and guiding questions into focus during a half-day of programming featuring its faculty and graduate student grant recipients.
The first session, from 9:30am to 12:00pm, will feature works-in-progress presentations from the Center’s 2025-2026 cohort of faculty grantees. Grantees will provide overviews of their Center-funded projects, their relationship to advancements within the field of political economy and plans to continue their work after the grant period concludes. Center-affiliated faculty will serve as discussants, offering brief responses to each presentation.
After this session, lunch will be provided and we will move into a poster session where newly awarded graduate student grantees will present their projects and network with Center affiliates. It will take place from 12:30pm to 2:00pm and follow a structure in which the students will briefly summarize their projects for, and respond to questions from, rotating groups of participants.
Registration and breakfast will begin at 9:00am. The Center’s faculty Codirectors, Professors Ira Katznelson, Katharina Pistor, and Suresh Naidu, will deliver opening remarks at 9:15am.
