Work, Labor, and Collective Action in a Wholesale Market in Quito, Ecuador

The project is a mixed-methods study of labor and organizing in a major wholesale market in Quito, Ecuador. It includes participant observation, surveys, interviews, and participatory research to understand the ideas, practices, and conditions in which both employers and laborers work at the market, as well as the terms in which laborers in the market organize for pay and employment conditions.
