This project investigates the impact of data centers on regional innovation and economic growth. Specifically, this project examines how the establishment of initial and subsequent data centers within a region can shape its innovation and economic path while considering ways to guide these investments for equitable growth. Recognizing the crucial role data centers play in driving technological innovation in the digital age, this project aims to provide guidelines for government and businesses to make informed decisions regarding data usage and ownership to promote innovation.
